Hi I'm Kim

I am a mother of 6, grandma of 4, I love my husband, I love to be at home, I love books, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom and have been ever since I married my dream man, Eric. We have a family of 8 which now, happily, has increased to 15! We all live within a mile of each other, (except for our precious daughter and son-in-law) and we love to get together on Sunday's to eat and laugh together. I have found great joy in this special family. I have traveled to many countries and states and loved it, but I am really happiest when I am at home. I love to create things and right now it is cards. I love Mexican food and could eat it every day! I also love to be at the beach. I guess that comes from living in Arizona my whole life. All these things and many more make me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of goodly parents who taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ and have been a Mormon my whole life. Even though I believed what I was taught and knew that my parents believed and had a testimony of the gospel, I was the kind of kid that needed to know for myself. When I went to college I really started reading my scriptures and praying regularly. I decided to have faith and go to my Heavenly Father in prayer and fasting so that I could gain my own testimony. I prayed about the truthfulness of the church and gospel for about a month without an answer. I kept at it and then one Sunday sitting in church we sang "I know that my Redeemer lives" and I got a warm feeling all over my body and then started crying. My prayers were answered and I KNEW. I am happiest when I am close to my Heavenly Father and Jesus.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church every Sunday, going to the temple, looking for opportunities to serve those around me, and trying every day to be a better follower of Christ. I love my Savior and hope that I share what makes me happy with those I meet every day.
