Hi I'm Megan

I'm a wife, a mom, a small business owner, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have built many businesses together. We currently own and operate a landscaping consulting company. In addition to this I am a mother of two beautiful girls and one very energetic little boy. Three days a week I join the other stay at home moms at the gym to get down and funky with a little Zumba. I also enjoy swimming, riding my bike, rollerblading, and cycling classes. After my workout, laundry, work, and cleaning, I enjoy "quiet time". This is when the kids are napping or quietly resting. I spend the time reading or writing. I am currently attempting to write my first novel. I'll let you know how it turns out. I have a passion for the outdoors. Anything from skiing to hiking to taking a stroll through the farmers market, rain or shine, I love being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was the only member in our family. My brothers and I were raised in the church but fell away one by one. Shortly after having my first daughter I thought it would be nice for the baby and me to go to church with my mother so she wouldn't have to go by herself. It didn't take long for me to discover the importance of raising my children in the gospel. My husband (who was also an inactive member) started coming with us a few years later. We have always been a strong and happy family but the blessings we have received from our temple sealing has magnified our love and devotion for one another as we work together towards an eternal goal.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in The Church but my current calling is by far my favorite. I get the privilege to work with the wonderful young women that are in my ward. This summer I was able to go to girl's camp. I was there as one of the adult leaders and was able to see the leadership, beauty, and testimonies that live inside each one of the girls. They teach me so much and are a shining example of God's love. My husband and I were also invited to be a Ma and Pa on trek this summer. This four day trek through Wyoming allowed me the opportunity to get to know not only the young women better but also the young men. I never could have imagined a greater group of kids. They know where they came from, who they are, and what they are heading towards. I was grateful to see that they had such a solid understanding of their Heavenly Father and the knowledge that He is always there for them. I'm thankful to know this truth and look forward to my children discovering these truths and more as they continue to learn about their Heavenly Father and brother Jesus Christ and the gospel that has been restored on this earth for their benefit.
