Hi I'm Rhonda.

I'm a wife, a step-mother, a Colorado native, and a basketball junkie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Colorado native. I am a convert to the church. I'm a wife and a step-mother to our 2 mostly grown children. I love high school and college basketball. I'm a marathon runner in my dreams and I adore anything chocolate. I work full-time for an insurance sales executive. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Catholic but investigated other churches and religions much of my adult life. I always felt like something was missing. Then I met an AMAZING single dad. He told me during our first date that he was Mormon. He encouraged me to ask him questions if I wanted. I didn't have many. We just talked and compared his basic believes to mine. He honestly didn't say anything that shocked me. I instantly loved his confidence. He has an amazing understanding of history and the gospel. I was hooked. We were married a year later. We were married for a few years before I realized I had finally found what I had been searching for. I finally found a man who loved and respected me; who believed in me, truly loved me, and who honored our marriage above everything else. I am not the mother of his children but we are a family for eternity. FINALLY it all made sense to me. I was baptized in July 2008.

How I live my faith

I am so blessed to have a husband who has grown up in the church and is willing to share with me his knowledge of the gospel, church history, world history, and how all of the stories Old Testament, New Testament and the Book of Mormon combine to make a complete history of the world. We have amazing conversations around the dinner table. My husband and I attend church meetings regularly. I have a calling to serving the Young Women of the church. My husband and I look forward to the day we can attend the temple together.
