Hi I'm Jessi.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently finishing a Doctor of Arts degree in Piano Performance/Pedagogy. I teach at both a university and community college. I also have a private piano studio which is constantly expanding. Besides playing the piano and teaching, I love hiking and cooking. My husband and I enjoy playing Rock Band and Just Dance. Well, mostly it's just me that really loves Just Dance. Basically, I just love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. As I have studied and taken classes, I have marvelled at the perfection of the world, nature, our bodies, etc. The fact that my body functions each day is a testament to me that there is a God. I have felt the love that our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ, have for me personally. I feel it when I pray, study the scriptures, attend church, and most of all when I attend the temple. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints contains the fullness of the gospel, and I know it is true. I have had my own personal witness, on several occasions, that it is true. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is our Savior and Redeemer. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. As an instrument in God's hands, he restored the true and complete gospel to the earth. Through the power of God, Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I know, because I have read it several times, that the Book of Mormon brings us closer to Christ. The gospel makes sense to me. I know that living the gospel can make us truly happy. True happiness is the kind that lasts forever. As a Mormon, I believe that I will be with my family forever, because we have been sealed together in the holy temple. To me, this is true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. Being a Mormon isn't just a Sunday thing; it is 24/7. At church, I teach the children about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I also help with the cubscout program during the week. Throughout the week, I work hard and serve others.
