Hi I'm Amy Jo

I love dandelions. My life is a constant musical. I'm addicted to anything with hot fudge on it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Sometimes, I like to sing in the grocery store just because I can. My brothers are my heroes; I look up to them so much! I love to work with kids because we get along really well. I was born 3 months early, and they didn't think I would survive, but here I am running around eating ice cream and reading Harry Potter.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and every person. He recognizes each of our amazing gifts and abilities, and I think true joy comes from recognizing others in that same light. During the hardest times in my life, I have come to realize and grow stronger by realizing just how much God truly loves us. For me, I feel it strongest in prayer and service. The world is such a beautiful place, and I want to help keep it that way! Another really strong basis of my religion is how much each individual soul means to God. Each of us came here with a purpose and every person that has ever lived is so unique! With this comes trials that refine us and help us to become even better people. Although it may be super hard at times, and you might feel ready to give up, I know that Heavenly Father is always there for you, waiting to help if only we ask Him. There is so much we can learn out of our trials, and I am constantly growing through the church, seminary, and life in general. :)

How I live my faith

I think that the biggest way to show what you believe is how you live. Our examples are simple and straight-forward, so if we live with all the love and joy that the gospel instills in us, it's like a walking testimony.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Amy Jo
A strong spiritual knowledge of a gospel principle. The basis of my testimony is that God loves each of us individually. Show more Show less
