Hi I'm Don

I love to hunt and fish. I enjoy working with wood. I like to work with and spend time with my children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hunt and fish. I enjoy working with wood. I like to work with and spend time with my children. I like to weld things. I like to camp. I love to be with my family. I grew up as a farmer, farming cotton and alfalfa. I enjoy gardening. I like to ride horses, water ski, snow ski, and draw pictures. I am one of six children. I have been married to the same wonderful woman for 29 years. I am a father of 6 great children, 5 sons and one daughter. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in Gilbert on the family farm when it was a farming community and I have always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love the way the church is family oriented and how it teaches you to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I served a 2 year mission for the church when I was 19 in New Zealand and learned how the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes people's lives for the good. I enjoy the comfort that the gospel gives me in knowing that I can be with my family for this life and forever.

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions in the church, both among the youth and the adults. I currently teach a Sunday school class of 15 and 16 year old boys and girls. I try to live each day by being kind to all I associate with and try to be the best that I can as I live the gospel principles. I like to share the gospel with others so that they too can enjoy the happiness the gospel brings to me and my family.
