Hi I'm Emily

I am a single woman. I work in the semiconductor industry. I travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite hobbies are movies, fishing, shopping, and enjoying the latest electronic gadgets. After I served a Mormon mission to South Korea, I was a nanny. I realized right away I didn't want to be a nanny the rest of my life. I earned my Bachelor's Degree at a technical school and I currently work with a semiconductor company. I've traveled to many locations in Asia, Europe, and the USA. I love animals and currently own two adorable pugs.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the Mormon faith. My Father converted at 26 when he met Mother. My Father came from a divorced family that was torn apart by alcoholism. He didn't want that for his own family. I was taught the Mormon faith and as I got older I realized following God's commandments made my family happier and I'm happier. Even now, living on my own I know that what my parents taught me was truth. My life has been very peaceful for the decisions I have made. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My calling in my ward is to visit two other single women once a month in their homes. I leave a religious message with them and I find out if there are any needs they may have. We call our monthly visits Visiting Teaching. Visiting Teaching is a way to know if someone needs help and to make new friends. I also help keep a list of who visits who and when people move in to our ward we make sure they get assigned women assigned to visit them.
