Hi I'm Tim Leedy

I grew up in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Hawaii, and Arizona and like the Grand Canyon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy camping and hiking with my children and grandchildren. My day job for the past twenty six years has been in school finance administration but my real passion is travel and being outdoors. I have been to the bottom of the Grand Canyon at least thirty times, I ride a Harley and have a 63 Volkswagen project car. My most recent trips have been to England, Scotland, France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey.

Why I am a Mormon

A couple that were members of the church became friends and asked if they could have us visit with the missionaries. I researched several churches when I was younger but hadn't found one that really fit. I was looking for a christian church that had great programs for kids and advocated patterning our lives after the example of Jesus Christ. When I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, all of the pieces came together and we were baptized. That was thirty five years ago. Now we have four children, all married in the temple and eight wonderful grandchildren that are all active in the church.

How I live my faith

I am an eleven year old Boy Scout leader. Both of my sons are Eagle Scouts and I am happy to be involved in helping others achieve that prestigeous honor. I have attended church regularly for the past thirty five years.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Tim Leedy
I was a convert to the church after I was married and had three children. Some day I hope to serve a humanitarian mission with my wife but it is not required. It is a matter of choice. Show more Show less
