Hi I'm Lori

I'm a wife, a stay at home mother of 4, an only child and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom to 3 beautiful daughters and 1 amazing son. I've been married to my best friend for 21 years and my most favorite thing is to spend time with all of them as much as possible! I love to create, scrapbook, sing, play the piano, laugh and try to make others do the same! I love to eat but hate to cook. I'm a native Arizonan but hate the desert, cactus and the heat. I love chocolate chip ice cream, french fries and drinking lemonade but hate strawberries because they're bumpy and hairy and bananas because they're gushy and stinky.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up in what people might think to be a "typical" Mormon household. I was 4, an only child and we weren't members of the church when my parents divorced. I never really saw my dad again. My mom and I moved to another city and the missionaries found us! I will be forever grateful that my mom had such an open mind and heart to let them in and listen to their message. My life would be so completely different without the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel has given my life direction, peace, joy, purpose, perspective, and happiness. And now with a family of my own it means even more to me. The gospel Helps me to be a better wife and mother. It teaches us about a loving Heavenly Father who knows each one of us personally. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches me and my family how to be happy here in this life and how we can be together again as a forever family after we die. The gospel of Jesus Christ blesses my life. I am so thankful to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

The life of a Mormon is wonderfully busy! Every Monday Night we have family home evening where we get to spend time as a family learning the gospel, hanging out together, having fun and eating yummy treats! This night is totally reserved for our family to be together! I attend church every Sunday and have served in different assignments or callings. Right now I serve in the women's organization helping to plan monthly activities where the ladies get together to learn something new and fun and uplifting! It's so great to be a part of such an amazing group of women. But I really try to live my faith by living it everyday. Being a Mormon is not just a religion, it's who I am. I try to be an example of happiness, service, kindness and just by trying to do a little good everyday. I don't always succeed and often I totally fail. But I try to do the best I can.
