Hi I'm Madison

I'm a Mormon. I'm am serving in the New York, New York South mission, Spanish speaking. I am from Arizona.

About Me

I am a golfer. I have spent the last semester playing for my College golf team. I am the second oldest of 5 kids and love all of my siblings. I am a Harry Potter fan and love all things magical. I can always be found singing, listening to all types of music and screaming songs at the top of my lungs. I believe that expressing your self through music and art is important to growing. One of my favorite types of music is Metal, but I will never say no to listening to good old fashion country.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have felt the Gods love for me in my life and know with out a doubt that without the atonement in my life I would not be the same person i am today. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and through him God restored the full ness of the gospel to the earth. I love the church and Love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission as a full time missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am serving in The New York, New York south mission Spanish speaking. One of my favorite things that I have learned so far is the importance of studying the gospel through reading the Book of Mormon and reading the words of the prophets. I have grown in my faith and learned so much about Heavenly Fathers Love for me as his daughter.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Madison
For church on Sunday, the women wear modest dresses that reach the knee and cover their shoulders, or a nice modest skirt and shirt. The men and boys usually wear suits, sport coats with a white shirt and tie. Kids also dress up for Sunday. As members of the church we celebrate Christmas and Easter, as they celebrate the birth, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We also celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and other national holidays. Show more Show less
