Hi I'm Kaley

I'm a freshmen in college, hoping to one day become a wife, mother, and neonatal nurse. I love the life I live. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school and look forward to attending college this coming winter. I'm excited to start a new chapter in my life and look forward to the future ahead of me! My hobbies include running, eating, stalking other peoples' blogs, volunteering, and hanging out with my friends and family. I love being with my friends and love life. Oh, and i failed my license test three times...

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church and feel so blessed to be apart of this amazing gospel. Being a Mormon has made me happier than words can express. Growing up, I lived off my parents', leaders', and teachers' testimonies and learned by their example. During my freshmen year of high school, I had a lot of unanswered questions about life, while i've grown up being taught that I am a child of Heavenly Father and that there is a plan for me, I needed to find that out for myself. I prayed to Heavenly Father, read the scriptures, pondered a LOT, and learned for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I know Heavenly Father loves me. He knows me by my first name. He knows my fears, my triumphs, and my struggles. I know that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and He will help me with any problem, no matter how small. Through trials, I have gained a personal relationship with My Savior. The atonement is real. He died for me. I know that during his suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, while He was bleeding from every pore, He thought of me. My face flashed before his eyes. One of those drops of blood was for me. He is real, He lives, and He loves me.

How I live my faith

I stive to live what I believe everyday. I am so proud to be a Mormon and I want everyone I meet to know that. I pray for help to become more like My Savior, Jesus Christ and do what He would do if He was physically walking on the earth today. I want to be more like Him. I attend church every Sunday and have the amazing opportunity to teach some of the four and five year olds in my ward. I teach them that the Savior loves them. It's as simple as that. The children i get to teach bring me so much joy. They remind me every week that the gospel of Jesus Christ really is so simple. I also have the chance to play the piano at baptisms once a month. It is such a sweet reminder of how i felt when i made those covenants with my Heavenly Father when I was eight and how happy I am that I made that decision.
