Hi I'm Aubrey

I love to act and dance. My dream job is to become a mother. I enjoy journaling and creating silly short stories. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When people think of the word "Mormon", they might think of some strange being that doesn't know how to live. Well, we Mormons have talents, hobbies, and interests just like anybody else. Some of my favorite things to do are swimming, writing, baking, acting, and dancing. When I was younger I had dreams of becoming a famous actress, just like any other little girl. I also really like to journal - I have been writing daily in journals ever since I was eight, and I have a different journal that I write my short stories and doodle in. I love to go outside when it's windy or rainy, and I enjoy being in nature and being around animals. One thing that I would reallly love to try someday is surfing. I live in a place that is far from any ocean, which is a sad thing for me. Beaches are another one of my favorite things, and I think it would be awesome to ride the waves and dive with the sea animals.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family, and so I have been a member of the church my entire life. Some people might think that I am still Mormon because my parents make me, but that's not it. I choose to be a member because the church brings peace and happiness into my life. I am a teenager, so I am currently trying to get through high school. I don't know what I would do without knowing where I came from, why I am here, and what my future is. The way I see it, I would not be who I am today without the gospel in my life. Being a member of this church has helped me to see the world, trials, other people, and myself in a special way. I don't think I would be able to get though these years of high school without the peace that rests in my soul from living this gospel. I have a strong testimony of God and Jesus Christ. I know that they are watching over me and are helping me everyday as I make my way through my teenage years. I know that God has a special plan for everyone, and everyone goes through what they go through for a reason. I am so thankful for this church in my life.

How I live my faith

There are two main ways that I live my faith: attending church and seminary. Both ways are very important to me, because they make me who I am. Everyday at school I make my way across the street to the seminary building at the church. I have loved seminary since my first day of high school, and I still do. I love it because it gives me pointers on what i need to do to achieve my goal of becoming a mother. I also live by the standards of the church, such as modesty, honesty, and virtue. Church and mutual are both great for me because they also keep me where I want to be and I have found many friends there. Reading my scriptures daily is another thing that I do to live my faith. This usually consists of reading a chapter from the Book of Mormon, but there are many other ways to do it. I also enjoy sharing what I know to my friends and others, and I only wish I could tell everyone. But by living my standards I suppose I am sharing the gospel to everyone, just by being myself.
