Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 3 years now and loving every minute. I played soccer in college and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. I love anything that involves being outside in the sunny weather. I would describe myself as someone who is very active, loves to be with family and friends, and loves to travel/vacation to new places. I enjoy scrapbooking, playing sports, cooking, learning to make new crafts, going to movies and new restaurants, and reading. I am just a normal, everyday girl, excited to see what each day as to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I grew up learning and forming a testimony little by little each day. I love the Gospel and it has always just made "sense" to me. I love that I am able to show what I believe in each and every day and it wasn't just a "Sunday" thing. It is an every day thing showing what I believe through my actions, and words. The Gospel has always brought so much happiness into my life. With each day you are faced with challenges some harder than others, but knowing that Heavenly Father has sent us here for a reason, and that we are never alone gives me a great deal of peace and comfort. Having the gospel in my life has given me perspective on the important things in life and helps me realize that this life is to be the best we can possibly be and make it back to our Heavenly Father. I love that the Gospel is centered around family. Family to me is the most important part of life and knowing I can be together forever with my family brings a great deal of comfort to me and is a very special blessing. Living the gospel each day gives me purpose, and hope for the future. It is what my life is centered around because I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and has given us a way to make it back home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my very best in my "calling" I have been given in the ward. My particular calling is helping plan activities that all the women in the ward can participate in. We try to pick activities that will reach as many different interests as possible as well keeping it centered around the Gospel. I also serve as a ward missionary. I work hand in hand with the missionaries to act as a friend, and reach out to those who may be in need and who are also learning the gospel. In my everyday life I focus my family life around Christ and the Gospel. My husband and I are always trying to strengthen our marriage and keep the Gospel as a Center focus in our home. I strive to serve those around me as a friend, neighbor, visiting teacher and ward member. I do my best to be an example of a follower of Christ throughout each and everyday.
