Hi I'm Gaynor Davina

I reside in Mesa, Arizona and I'm going to school to be a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Malo e lelei everyone! My name is Gaynor and I am a Tongan-American. My parents are from the South Pacific Islands of Tonga and New Zealand and I'm a first generation here in America. I'm currently going to school to become a special education teacher. I am not married and I have no children. I love to play volleyball, and I play at least 2-3 times a week!! I'm excited to become a teacher because during my summer time off I will be able to travel which is another interest of mine that I want to do for the rest of my life!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe and know that this is the true church. As a young girl my parents raised us as members of the Mormon church however, I had to come to a realization for myself that the church was true. Through lots of prayer I came to know that there was a God who was there and that loved me and answered my prayers of the truthfulness of the gospel. Because of prayer and knowing that my Heavenly Father loved me I wanted to share my experiences with others which is why I chose to serve a full time mission for our church to South America. I want to continue to follow His gospel of "good news" because it helps me have peace and happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my attending my sacrament meetings on sunday for 3 hours. I am teacher where all of the sisters meet for an hour together on sundays to talk of Christ and the importance of following Him in our lives. I also help visit the sisters in our ward that need help or are struggling with anything at times.
