Hi I'm Brett

I am a husband, father of two, a dentist, love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my grandpa out on the farm. From those experiences it was ingrained in me to work hard and play hard. Since then I have lived my life in such a manner whether it was working on the farm, swinging a hammer, studying or playing sports and riding any kind of board. Hard work and God's love have now blessed me with a career that I am excited about everyday (dentistry) and a family that makes me the proudest man alive. I have a beautiful, active and dedicated wife/mother and two amazing children. Our two children came as gifts from two courageous birth mothers that gave us the privilege to take them into our home. These little kids light up my day and I love it when they tell me, "some other lady that loved me so much carried me in her tummy but mom and dad carried me in their hands." My family is the greatest thing I have in my life and I love to work hard for the beautiful thing we have and I do it so we can play hard together as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a strong line of Latter Day Saints and as a result we are a large family in the gospel. Family is the most important thing in my life and the fact that through the gospel of Jesus Christ we can be together forever has me rooted and proud to say "I'm a Mormon". The gospel is God's perfect plan for an imperfect person as I. As I have learned and grown, God's love through his Son's sacrifice has made it possible for me to be where i'm at today. I know that God's love is extended to all mankind and we can all reap the blessings from his open arms.

How I live my faith

I live my faith like I live my life, having fun while doing it. As I was taught to have fun while working hard I have found the fun and joy coming from living my faith. In a world that would make someone believe that living a christian life is boring, I love to show people that is not the case. My favorite thing is as I have worked with the youth of the church is to show them that living the gospel can be cool and we do this by getting out doors and enjoying all the things God has given us in a manner that is pleasing to Him.
