Hi I'm Bayley

I'm a full-time missionary. I'm obsessed with family and food. I'm a literature and history junkie. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the second oldest of 10 children, and my family is everything to me. I love learning, and have spent the past few years pursuing a degree in English, which taught me to love ridiculously long reading assignments and midnight writing sprees. Growing up in a family of 12, I learned how to love noise, how to work hard, and how to make huge batches of pancakes. I love movie theaters, swimming pools, and history textbooks. I'm currently serving a full time mission in the Texas Houston East mission, and wouldn't be anywhere else in the world at this point in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it's true. Christ DID establish a church, where God's children could learn how to get back home to Him, and Joseph Smith DID restore that church by the power of God. And only in this church - Christ's church - can we come to fully understand His gospel. This gospel is about love and happiness, learning and progression. It's about having a personal relationship with God, and about forming family relationships that will last for eternity. And it's about knowing our Savior, Jesus Christ, and allowing his Atonement to change us forever.

How I live my faith

For me, living my faith is all about trust - trusting in God and in the Lord so he in turn can trust us. When we live our faith, we trust Him to lead, guide, and walk beside us, as we in turn show our trustworthiness by diligently following the path He has set before us. In doing so, no matter where we are at in our lives, we are living for Him, and we can become trusted servants of God. Currently I am lucky enough to be serving a full-time mission for the church in the Texas Houston East Mission, where I have the choice experience to witness miracles each day as I trust God to put me where I need to be.
