Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a daughter, a sister and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Sarah. I am from a large family of 9 nine children. I loved growing up in a large family. I married my husband four years ago and he is currently finishing up graduate school. I have worked a full-time job through the majority of his graduate studies but now I am doing graduate school as well. We have no children but have struggled for years to try and get pregnant. It is one of our life goals to raise a family in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and I know that as I live according to good principles and stay close to my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ, I can experience joy. I gained a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at a young age. I was younger than 12 years old when I knew for a surety that the church was true and that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I know that that Book of Mormon is true. I have had many good examples in my life of righteous individuals and I continue to watch friends and family who are living good lives and strengthening my testimony of the teachings and truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church. I currently teach the young children how to sing songs about our beliefs. One of my favorite songs that we are learning is "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus." The kids understand who Jesus is and they want to be like him so teaching them this song is a precious experience. I also play the piano when I am not teaching the music. I find great joy in serving these children of our Heavenly Father.
