Hi I'm Susan

I'm a happy wife and mother. I'm a talker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is filled with a little bit of everything. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes exciting, sometimes frustrating and other times just plain hard. But I wouldn't trade any of it! I have a wonderful husband, four amazing children, and a fabulous extended family. I try to put my family first, because no matter what else I'm doing, when it comes right down to it, they are what matters most. I love to explore, ride horses, practice yoga and travel. I help my husband run our physical therapy clinic and have made wonderful friends of his patients. I have a great love for caregivers and enjoy the opportunity to facilitate support groups and help with events for organizations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I enjoy my work as a facilitator, trainer and writer for an international leadership training company. The opportunity to work with people all over the world has given me a great perspective and love for all of Heavenly Father's children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a home with parents who loved me and taught me the gospel. I have honestly never had a day of doubt about the truthfulness of what I learned as a child. I have, however, gained knowledge through my study of the scriptures. I've gained life experiences that helped increase my faith. I've learned to trust in God - even when times are tough. I'm grateful for the peace that I've felt as I've experienced life's struggles. I am grateful for the joy I feel as I strive to do God's will. Through the restoration of the gospel, the power and authority of Christ's church has once again returned to the earth. Drawing upon that power, and the guidance of a living prophet, helps me feel a sense of strength and security that is hard to describe. I feel blessed to know what I know.

How I live my faith

Jesus taught us to love one another - and that's really what being a member of the church is all about. Learning to love and serve and sacrifice brings the greatest happiness possible. I want to be able and willing to help those in need. Whether they be my own family, my friends, my neighbors or those I don't even know, I want them to feel our Heavenly Father's love through me.
