Hi I'm Ben

I am a Husband, a Father, a Colorado transplant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Colorado for five years, but I am originally from Pennsylvania. I work in finance for an engineering firm. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my wife and young daughter. We enjoy being outdoors and we try to take every opportunity to hike in the majestic mountains of Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the true chruch of God. I have had a confirmation within my heart and soul. As a member of the LDS Chruch, I have learned more about the nature of our Heavenly Father. I understand that he loves all of us and desires that we return to live with him once again. I know that as a loving Father he has provided a plan for us to return and live with him, and we can accomplish this by obeying his commandments. I also know that His Son Jesus Christ has made it possible for us to overcome sin and death, the obstacles the keep us from our Father, through his Atonement. He loves us and made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a better person each day. I realize that I am far from perfect and I have many flaws and weaknesses, but I try everyday to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be a more patient and more loving member of the human race. Also, I participate actively in the Church by attending the meetings and activities. From this I am strengthened in my resolve to be more like Christ and I get to affiliate with people who are trying to live the same kind of life. From my interaction with other members I have found opportunites to serve my fellow man and also I have been uplifted by the kindness of other thoughtful members of the church.
