Hi I'm Scott

I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ and still live in AZ. I always strive to do my best and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been a Mormon, but every person must obtain their own testimony and committment to the gospel of Jesus Christ at some point in their life. I lived my life with choices that I made and I am not perfect, as is true of member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I do know that the organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is perfect and has answers to the questions that will return you to your Father in Heaven. There is a comfort and peace in knowing why you are here and where you are going, and more importantly that you can be there with your family. I continue each day struggling with doing what is right and what I know I should do, not for myself, but for others, finding myself in the service of others. The Bible, along with The Book of Mormon gives counsel and guidance to lives questions, giving you insight of what the prophets of old wrote to this generation to allow us to endure to the end. I live by the motto " Without Direction You cannot find Happiness"

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be a Mormon. I am not forced, or required, or am I threatened with eternal damnation if I leave the church. I find the answers to the questions I have, in a way that make sense and in a way that our Father in Heaven would show His love to his children. Families are what is important in life, not money, not personal gain, not possessions, it about family. No other church that I can find places the importance on the family and can connect that family throughtout the eternities, with the proper authority. There is a prophet on the earth, as well as apostles, just as times of old, and why not, our Lord loves us just as much as the people who have passed before us. I am a Mormon because I choose to be.

How I live my faith

"By their fruits ye shall know them", and I live by that scripture. I try and live my faith by example. Not everyone in the Mormon faith is perfect and you can always find fault with someone in any religion, but the organization of the church is perfect and I try to live by its concepts and the commandments that have been revealed through prophets. I try to find a way to give service everyday, I pray to a loving Father in Heaven, I pay a honest tithing, and I give of my time and money when and where I can - all to help others. If you want to know what the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ can give you, ask someone who lives the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not someone who judges others and critiques anothers faith, but someone who lives their faith and has a testimony of what they believe.
