Hi I'm Linnlee

I'm a wife, a mother, a crafter, a sports fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in San Diego California. After high school I attended BYU and then Ottowa University, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. I wanted to stay at home with my kids, so I choose to tutor instead of teach after I graduated. I am married to my best friend (really, we met at 14, and have been best friends since!) and have two beautiful, amazing children. I enjoy every part of being a mom! Each day that I get to be a part of raising these sweet spirits from my Heavenly Father, and being a companion to my husband, is a day that I count a blessing. I love to be creative! I enjoy crafting, sewing, photography, Photoshop, cooking and baking. I love to be active in many forms, running, biking, and even going to the gym. I love a good book, being with friends, and spending time with the people that I love!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints because I have a testimony that it is true. I was lucky enough to be born a member of the church, and over the years have a built a testimony of the gospel as it has blessed and directed my life. I know that Jesus Christ lives, that He is my Savior, that He is my friend, and as I go through challenges, triumph, heartache, pain and joy, He is there, holding my hand helping my move forward, and cheering me on. Because of the Gospel I know that I have a purpose here. I know that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father, and that He loves me. I know that I am part of an eternal family, a forever family. I am grateful that the Gospel is in my life and can bless me and my family. It is a roadmap of sorts. It keeps me on the road back to my Heavenly Father. It helps me to be the best that I can be, in every area of my life. It helps me to see beyond the trials I might face, into the happiness that is all around me. I love this gospel, and I know that it is true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by who I choose to be. I try to be an example of my faith to those around me, especially to my kids. I read my scriptures, I pray, I teach my children about their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I try to serve others. I try each day to be a “disciple” of Christ.
