Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a wife, a sister and a daughter. I love marketing and advertising. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived on both coasts of the USA and am now settled somewhat in the middle. I love being outside and being active. I love to cook and bake and do pretty much anything creative. I love to travel and have been several places on my travel list with many more still to go! I love my church, my family and my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost's witness that the doctrine is true. I have gained and grown my testimony through scripture study, prayer, trials, attending church meetings and the temple and visiting church history sites. I have had my prayers answered and have had weak things made strong through my faith and prayer. I believe in having the whole truth and that even though many religions have partial truths, we have all of it. Who wouldn't want all of the truth? I love that I can be with my family forever. I love that we have a modern day prophet who talks to God and communicates His will to us. I love that we know where we were before this life, where we are going after this life and how to get there. I love that we have a moral structure to our church that saves us from so much pain, suffering and heartache. I love that we strive to share our faith and happiness with others. I love that we have an eternal perspective. I believe all of these things with all of my heart and soul.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meeting and striving to be an example to others. I am on a committee that organizes activities for the women of the congregation. We do everything from learning new skills, serving others and strengthening our testimonies to getting together for ice cream or crafting. I am also a visiting teacher. I go with a partner to visit a few sisters from church every month with a spiritual message. I also give service to these sisters if they need anything. I, like many members of our church, strive to live my faith not just on Sundays or holidays but constantly and consistently in all I do, say and the way I present myself.
