Hi I'm Keli

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and met my husband in college there. After graduation we spent three years in Northern California where we had our first son. After a job layoff we moved to Southern California and loved it! This mountain-loving girl would move back to the beaches of California in a heartbeat! After one year, another layoff forced us to move again, this time to Washington. I am still trying to adjust to the weather but love how beautiful and green it is here. Since we've been here, we've added a second son to our family! I really enjoy spending time with my husband and boys, doing anything they are interested in. I have learned that digging in the dirt for bugs and worms really isn't that bad!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up a Mormon, I didn't attend church regularly until after high school. It was in college that I met the man that I would one day marry and he helped me to understand Heavenly Father's love for me. It was through his shining example that I began attending church again and gained a solid testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am eternally grateful that he reached out to me and gave me back something that I had been missing for years. I now strive each day to be a good example to those who might be watching! I try really hard to stay strong and positive through my trials. In two years time, our family has dealt with four job layoffs and a miscarriage. Even though those things were very hard to deal with at the time, I wouldn't change them. Those particular trials have made me the woman that I am today. I believe that Heavenly Father gives us challenges to help us grow. He knows us and loves us and will not lead us astray!

How I live my faith

In church I have the opportunity of serving others. I help plan activities that bring women together outside of the normal Sunday services. It is so rewarding to provide them with activities that are positive and uplifting and especially rewarding to see a smile on someone's face!
