Hi I'm Connie

I'm a mom of 3 amazing boys, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am number seven of eight children who live in eight different states. I was born and raised in Utah. I have lived in Delaware, Florida, California, and for the last 13 years My family and I have lived in Colorado. We love it here! We love the mountains and the beautiful Colorado weather. I met my husband when he was going to school and we have been married now for 24 years. We have 3 amazing boys. Early on in our marriage, I worked as an Oral surgical assistant but for the last 14 years I have concentrated more on raising my 3 boys. I love books but don't always have a lot of time to read so I listen to a lot of books. There is always something playing on my mp3. I love going to the gym with my friends, camping, hiking, playing with my dog, but mostly just hanging out with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church. It has always been a part of my life. One of the things I love about being a Mormon is that we are encouraged to find out for ourselves that the things we are taught are true. I have prayed and know that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph Smith was a prophet, the same as Moses and Abraham, and that we have a Prophet on the earth today. His name is Thomas S. Monson. I have heard him speak and know he speaks the words of our Father in Heaven. I have prayed and know that my Father in Heaven knows who I am and loves me. Each day I try to be better than I was the day before. I often fail. But, that is the beauty of the Atonement. I can try again. I can try to be a better mother, wife, sister, daughter or friend. I am a Mormon. It is not only my religion, it is who I am inside and out. It shapes every decision I make each and every day from how I dress, to how I do my work.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to be able to serve in many areas in our ward (congregation). I have taught children from as young as 18 months old all the way up to 18 years. I have taught and served the Women of our local congregation. Lately, I had the amazing experience of going with our young women ages12-17 to girls camp. A week of getting closer to each other and to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love the pure spirit these young people have. They are truly an example to me of living a Christ like life.
