Hi I'm Mendy Kyser

I am a mother of four grown sons and I teach kindergarten. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost a wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. I married young and had my children right away. Out of necessity When I was thirty-five I began my college career. I graduated with two of my four sons and got a job teaching in an elementary school. My life is full and joyful although often hetic and hurried. I enjoy music, athletics, and spending time with my family during my free time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church with an active family. Although I seemed to lose my way as a teenager, that all changed when I became a young mother holding a small baby in my arms. I loved him so much and never wanted to be separated from him. Immediately I thought of eternal marriage and families being together forever and I longed for that comfort and blessing in my life. From that time on, that became my goal. I strive every day to live so that I can receive that great blessing in my life. The gospel brings me so much joy. It gives me peace, hope, and direction in a world that is vastly changing. The gospel is my anchor in a turbulent world and I am grateful for what it offers me. I know my Savior lives and loves me. He has a purpose for me to fulfill here and I know that through Him I can accomplish all things. He is my light and my joy.

How I live my faith

Because of some health restrictions I have that limit the things I can actively do in my ward, I serve as a visiting teacher to sisters in my ward who prefer to receive letters each month instead of personal visits. I send out letters to inspirational letters to five women each month and really enjoy this.
