Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I just recently moved to Texas for his first job out of grad school. I was a high school home Ec. teacher for 6 years and loved it. I also enjoyed coaching volleyball. I enjoy cooking and baking, playing and watching sports, country music, chick flicks, and spending time with my husband. Next on my list of things to do--become a mother!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Lord's spirit has testified to my heart that this church is true. I am a Mormon because of the joy, happiness, and peace it brings to my life. I am a Mormon because I want to be with my family forever--not just "until death do us part," but for eternity! I am a Mormon because every good thing in my life is a direct result of living this religion.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day of my life. This gospel is not a Sunday only event, but rather a way of life. I pray and read my scriptures alone and with my husband each day. I follow the life and teachings of Jesus Christ by serving others in need. A few times a month I serve at the "bishop's storehouse" where church members struggling to meet their financial needs can go to obtain groceries provided by the church. I visit two other female members of the church at least once a month, sharing a spiritual message with each visit and ensuring that there needs, both physical and spiritual are met. I worship and serve at the Mormon temple 2-4 times a month. Each Sunday I attend church and serve in the nursery where, I, along with my husband, teach and nurture, and entertain children from 18 months to two years old while their parents attend Sunday school and other spiritual meetings.
