Hi I'm Bethany

I grew up in the church, but I gained my own testimony as a teenager. I am a Mom of 4 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to 4 wonderful children. I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I love to play soccer, and sometimes I am a little too competitive. I love to read and get lost in a great book. I enjoy cooking, and try to find healthy recipes to feed my family. I am a college graduate, who majored in Family Life and Home Economics, because I wanted to grow up to be a Mom. I love being a Mom and everyday is a new adventure!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because at the age of 15 I had to choose who I was going to be. Was I going to follow my friends that were interested in boys, fashion, entertainment, and self serving pursuits. Or was I going to continue to live the standards taught to me by my parents and church leaders. I decided to spend time with my friends at church attend Young Women's, seminary, and church activities so I could qualify for a church sponsored school. This was my cross roads where I prayed to know what to do, and I knew the Book of Mormon was true, and I knew that Heavenly Father answers prayers. So I looked forward to a future as a member of the true church on earth, the one that had been resorted, and has the power of the priesthood and a living Prophet to lead the church. This does not mean my life is without challenges, but it means that I face those challenges with the Lord on my side, and a prayer in my heart.

How I live my faith

I have had many jobs in the church, but recently I have worked with the teenage girls, teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ and his plan for them. I have taught the 8 year old Sunday school class. I enjoyed teaching them about the stories in the Old Testament. I am currently the Primary Secretary and I love spending time with the Primary Children. Through church service I have learned how fulfilling service is and now enjoy volunteering at multiple schools.
