Hi I'm Curtis

I'm a father of 5 children with a wonderful family. I've lived all over the USA, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, and father of 5 wonderful children ranging from toddler to high school student. I have been in the Financial Services industry and currently serve as a Chief Financial Officer / Chief Compliance Officer. I serve as a Scout Master in the Boy Scouts of America and enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family through watching their various sporting events, going on family vacations, and just handing around each other. My hobbies include swimming, skiing, fishing, softball, and racquet ball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Book of Mormon are correct. I have read, studied, and prayed about the Book of Mormon, and it's various teachings, and received an answer from my Heavenly Father that they are absolutely correct and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. The programs of the Church are so inspired, i.e. Family Home Evening (Monday nights just for the Family), Young Men’s / Young Women’s Programs, and Primary (Kids Programs). When I follow and live the teaching of the Church, I feed the Spirit of God and am blessed with happiness and self-assurance. The gospel has given me a road map to follow so that I may return to live with my Heavenly Father if I do what is right and perform the necessary ordinances, i.e. baptism. I have studied other religions and know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints offers the fullness of God’s Church.

How I live my faith

I am a youth teacher of 12 and 13 year old boys on Sunday, and also serve as one of their Scout Masters throughout the week. I help plan fun events in Scouting to help keep the boys engaged in learning educational and spritual aspects of life. I also am responsible for two families in seeing that their well-being is taken care of. I do my best to be honest with my fellow man and provide service whenever possible.
