Hi I'm Kathleen

My roots are in Ontario, Canada and Buffalo, New York. I am married to the man of my dreams and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading, Knitting going for long walks with my husband, gardening, doing genealogy, visiting with family and friends. I love the church activities especially the women's group, such as flower arranging, and making flowers for our hair. I also enjoy getting together to help others such as making hygiene kits for people who have been in a disaster and making quilts, knitting hats, scarfs and mittens for people in need or transition.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband waited 21 years for me to join the Church. I was taught by the sister missionaries who loved me into the church. My testimony of the richness and truth of the gospel and this church has grown over time. I have received so many blessings from my participation the the church and the temple. How can I not have joy and gratitude every day?

How I live my faith

I love the sisters I visit teach each month. I am able to serve them by running errands for a sister who is unable to leave her home and washing floors. I enjoy taking another sister to appointments and shopping and to the temple. I also love the sisters who report their visiting teaching to me each month. They love, care for and pray for the sisters they serve. I enjoy serving in the Vancouver temple, which is incredibly beautiful as are the people I serve and the people am privileged to serve with.
