Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife to a wonderful man, a mom, an "OMA" and a NICU nurse. I love to spend time with my family and friends, sew, sing, read, decorate our home, play games, laugh and rock my grandbabies. I'm taking 'online' classes to advance my degree and finding that it's really hard to return to college!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me. He is aware of me and my life. I have to have faith in something bigger than myself and I can just look around and see the beautiful world and my family and all the many blessings that I have been given. I think I was converted when I was a little child. In Primary, (church class for children) we would sing songs about being a child of God and having faith in Him, the beautiful world he created and families being together forever. This is where my testimony started and through the years, even though I made some poor choices, I have learned about repentance and the atonement of Jesus Christ. My testimony is firm and I love my Savior .

How I live my faith

Every sunday I teach the little children -18 months to 3 years- about Jesus, how to pray, our world, our ears to hear, our hands to serve others, our families to love us, how to share and be happy. We sing songs and we play. I love the little children! They are so smart and they are so very to close to our Heavenly Father and Jesus. I also visit women in my church every month to check on them and offer service. Me and my companion also prepare a spiritual message to talk with them about. Everyone needs a friend and this is one way I can show my Heavenly Father that I am willing to be an instrument in his hand for others. I also try to live my life so that Heavenly Father and Jesus would be proud to call me their own. I try to be a good example for others so they will wonder what makes me different and I will be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. One of my favorite quotes is "Return with Honor"......just ask my kids!
