Hi I'm D-lyn

...born in California and grew up in Colorado. I'm a daughter, a sister, a mama of 5, a seamstress, a teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

"Mama" is my title, my 5 children are my full time work. I like cooing songs to my babies and sharing learning moments with my children as they grow up. After planting seeds of learning & knowledge with my children; I love to cultivate my imagination and get my fingers into a crafty project! I Love to sew, scrapbook, crochet, knit, watercolor paint, and read books with my spare moments.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me so much. Daily it helps me with my family and teaching my children. When I listen to the Holy Spirit's whisperings I feel peace and know I am making a difference for good in this world and in the lives of my children. Knowing I am a child of God causes me to feel closer to heaven now and have a positive outlook on the world and all of God's Children that I meet. I can feel my Father in Heaven's love when I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Those scriptures help me as I make choices and I am grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I enjoy working with other women to provide compassion and service. I especially enjoy participating in humanitarian aid by making quilts, clothes and kits for those in need around us and far away. I have served with the children's classes. What a delight it is to teach and share God's love with them. I also appreciate all those who teach my children the stories of Jesus and how they can follow him. Sundays always have a warm place in my heart as we gather together each Sunday to learn from each other. Each person has light to give that God gave them and I enjoy that fellowship together.
