Hi I'm Julie

I'm an engineer. I love my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and a friend. I'm a reader, a hand-crafter, a writer, a baker, and an engineer. I'm afraid of needles and ladybugs; I love apples and chocolate and riding my bike. I work all week and try to catch up around the house every weekend. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

The faith I was taught since I was a child has sustained me and helped me to find peace and happiness even in the times when life has been the most discouraging and frightening. It defines who I am as a daughter of my Heavenly Father, and it reassures me that I am loved and I have value in His eyes. I hope to live with my Heavenly Father again someday after this life, and that brings me joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in how I love and serve my friends, family, and community - I hope that with practice and time, my love for others will be more like my Savior's love for all of us. I live my faith in how I make decisions every day. I know I don't always make perfect decisions, but with help from my Heavenly Father I learn how to act in ways that increase my integrity and honesty. I try to make choices that help me to become more than I am, and I have found that choosing to live the gospel makes me happy. I live my faith by turning to Heavenly Father when times are tough. He lends me the strength that I don't have on my own to endure hard times. At the lowest point in my life, I needed my faith to lean on. I found peace in the temple. I live my faith by finding happiness in the promises Heavenly Father has made that I will live with my family even after this life. This promise has meant even more to me since my dad passed away many years ago. I love my family, and I want to be part of my family forever.
