Hi I'm Genny

Spiritually Minded is Life Eternal....SMILE I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a part time college student with a full time job as an obtech, I am also a facepainter on weekends. I love anything pertaining to sports, all the way from soccer to checkers. I believe in living life to the fullest. I've been skydiving, snowboarding, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. I also love anything with arts and crafts.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts to the church, they raised me in an environment where the gospel was taught and lived. I went to a private school that taught a different religion than what I learned at home and on Sundays. Whenever I had any questions, my father always told me to pray and find my answer through God and the scriptures. He said that Heavenly Father would listen and answer my prayers, and I would be stronger for it because I found out on my own, he was right. I will never forget the feelings I got after reading the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine of Covenants. I trully had a burning of truth in my heart, I felt peace, and I knew I was doing what was right. My parents might have been converts, but because of their teachings I was converted as well. I know the church is true. I know that there is a Prophet of God here on earth today and I also know that the glory of God is intelligence. He will answer after we seek, ask, and ponder.

How I live my faith

I am currently in charge of the bulliton at church. If there are anouncements, I put them in the program so everyone can know them and participate.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Consider life like a test... a final to be precise. A person can study for this final and try to get the best grade possible, or they can answer "c" to all the questions and barely pass and or fail. We have this time to learn all we can, to study, and we have the perfect teacher... Christ. Show more Show less
