Hi I'm Jeanetta

I am a mother of five. Grandmother of twenty-two. Great grandmother of twelve. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the country and still live in the country. Enjoy being surrounded by trees and wildlife. Love my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Also family and friends BBQ's.

Why I am a Mormon

Shortly after my husband and I were married Missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints knocked on our door in the city where we lived. While we were somewhat interested in their message, particulary the importance of families, we did not pursue the gospel at that time. A couple of years later we moved to the country, actually where we now live. Local member missionaries visited us, invited us to various activities and church meetings. Our family was growing and we felt a need to develop our spiritual lives. As we studied and learned of the gospel, as taught by the missionaries and members in the classes we attended we gained a firm testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the King James Bible and the Book of Mormon and were baptized.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures and doing my best to understand the teachings of Jesus Christ and living them. I serve when and where I am called. I am active in community organizations and serve on the county Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
