Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a hiker, a skier, a traveler, a management consultant, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up a small town in south-eastern Utah with little understanding of the world, but with an open mind and a lot of interest in discovering. I come from a large family--eight kids and my parents. As a child I was always concerned that I wouldn't have a chance to see anything outside of my home town and the surrounding area, but I have since worked, lived, and traveled in several countries. I love meeting new people and trying new things! Currently, I live California and work as a management consulting. All of my spare time is spent traveling and exploring the great outdoors. My favorite quote is “Be the change you want to see in the world.” -Mahatma Gandhi

Why I am a Mormon

I know there is good to be found in most churches, but I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church that has the fullness of the gospel, including a modern day prophet and apostles that receive revelation for our time, and addressing our challenges. Having the gospel in my life has brought me an incredible amount of peace, joy, and strength over the years. I love being a member of this church!

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time, but always keep my eyes on the big picture. I pray, read my scriptures, and try to be a better person each day than I was the day before. I have periods of struggle, but throughout it all I have a my family, friends, and members of the church that help me through. I love serving those in need and feel closer to God each time that I am able to help another. I know this life is an opportunity and a blessing, and strive to live each day to the fullest.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, the full name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We believe that Jesus lived and died for us so that we can be forgiven of our sins and to return to God's presence. Show more Show less
