Hi I'm Annie

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in L.A. but have the heart of a country girl too. I love being outdoors on horseback or walking.

About Me

I'm a outgoing, loving girl who is outdoors every chance I get and I love to be active in my surrondings. I'm also a new home owner and I'm having a blast figuring out all the do it yourself projects that come with buying a foreclosure. Betweeen the new house and having a 1 1/2 year old son I'm going a mile a minute with no end in sight. I own two horses that are a blast to spend time with a I also love doing pottery (or at least I did before things got so busy. I've had a tough year with two miscarriages one after the other and I'm still not quite over it yet. But I hope the hurt goes away. My husband is going to law school here in Colorado and when he's done with that I'm not sure where we'll end up but I hope it's somewhere fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon for different reasons at different times in my life. As a kid I was mormon because I felt that it was good and I loved knowing that I have a loving heavenly Father that knows my hurts. While on my mission in Spain I was a mormon because I knew more than I ever have that Christ was a brother to me and cared about me more than anything. Now as a wife and mother I'm mormon because I know that I can't do the rest of my life without God and Christ and I want to be with my family forever which has been promised me in the holy temple.

How I live my faith

First and foremost I live my faith first by simply being a good person. I strive to be kind, thoughtful and non-judgementel. I fall short a lot of the time but I feel that your example should be the easiest way for someone to know what you're all about. I also have an assigement in church and I'm a part of a local non-religious mom's group. My favorite way to show my faith is with the neighborhood kids who come over. I encourage them to use good clean lauguage, not get into fights and play well together. That also sometimes doesn't work out like I would think it would but it's a joy to be around kids who are trying to figure our their place in this world.
