Hi I'm Amy

I am a wife, mother, and hairstylist. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family, being in nature, going out with friends, traveling, reading, shopping, eating good food, and cutting hair. I never thought that I would live away from my immediate family, but the LDS church members have provided an extended family everywhere we have lived that has helped us make AMAZING friends and feel at home!

Why I am a Mormon

I remember being about 8 years old, sitting in a Primary class learning the words to the hymn "I believe in Christ." This song does not have a catchy tune for a child to learn but for some reason I was able to memorize the words quickly. I see now that I recognized at a young age the truthfulness of our Savior coming to this Earth and giving his life for me. I never would have imagined that as a young married couple we would have such a difficult time bringing a healthy child into our family. We lost our first two girls at birth. Although we still have daily reminders of their loss, we have had profound comfort come into our hearts and lives. I know that we have a merciful Heavenly Father that has provided a plan where we come to Earth to experience a life of learning and growth whether it is easy going or challenging. We are able to find happiness and peace because of the knowledge of the gift of His Son and we have faith that we will be reunited with our loved ones again.

How I live my faith

I stay at home with my little boys and I am so grateful for a church that provides high standards to teach my family. For every new age and phase that we go through with these fast growing little ones, I am comforted to know that I have tools and guidance in helping me teach them to be honest, hard working, reliable, charitable men. Along with helping me with my family, it provides me with opportunities to serve in the community and church meetings. Although it is intimidating to try something new I have learned to share my personal thoughts, feelings and experiences, as well as plan beneficial activities where we can learn and grow together in the life and in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
