Hi I'm Dave

I love serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

About Me

I was born in the Church. I grew up in an amazing area of Phoenix with lots of fun freinds. We went to Church dances, group dated and had a lot of fun. I attended BYU for one year before I served a mission in Antofagasta Chile from 1992 to 1994. After my mission I returned to BYU to complete my degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and met my amazing wife Candy. We currently have 6 amazing kids and are striving to live the best we can and survive. Although we sometimes struggle we are always blessed and happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that Christ loves me and guides me every day. The LDS Church teaches me to follow Christs example and every time I follow his example, I receive a confirmation that what I am doing is the right thing to do. I was blessed with a desire to serve. This desire has brought a tremendous amount of blessings to my life every time I follow Christs example and serve others. Every time I realize the amount of blessings I receive it helps me to know that I am doing what is right. Through these realizations and confirmations that I have received there is no doubt in my mind that the LDS Church is the only true Church on the earth today. I know in my heart that I am doing what my Heavenly Father wants me to do and I will continue to serve and strive my best to obey his comandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith to the best of my ability. It involves a lot of service. I love to work with the youth of the Church. They are so special and I have grown a tremendous love for them all. I currently work with the older youth preparing them to serve a mission. I also work with the technologies used by the Church to help others learn and progress. I have several families that I try to visit every month to make sure they are doing good. I feel it is my duty to check in on these families and to serve them in any way possible. The more I serve in the Church the more I grow to love my God, my family and the other people around me.
