Hi I'm Starší Clark

I am serving a mission in Slovakia, where I have learned the language and am living and serving the people.

About Me

I was born in Landstuhl, Germany, but today I live in the US. I went to Millard North High School where I was on the swim team my Freshmen and Sophomore years. I was also on the Forensics team where I competed in informative speaking and persuasive speaking. I am an Eagle Scout in the Scouting program. When I plan on majoring in Psychology, Meteorology, or/and English. I am now serving a mission in the Czech/Slovak Mission. Here I have learned how to speak the language and have been sharing my faith in Christ with the intent of helping others to build their own faith in Christ. I have seen so many miracles here, mostly how the gospel of Jesus Christ truely blesses and changes the lives of those who abide by its teachings. I love these people and I know that God works with me as I try to help them to come closer to Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not only because I was born into a Mormon family but also because I have my own testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have read the Book of Mormon and have gained a testimony of its true and the truth that Joseph Smith was a prophet and he restored the Lord’s church in its fullness to the Earth. I can tell you that without the Church I probably wouldn’t be here today to tell you about this. I can testify to you that God loves each and everyone one of us, his children, and that there is nothing that we can do that we cannot repent of. I myself have felt the power of His Atonement and I testify that there is no other way or means by with you can obtain true happiness.

How I live my faith

I try my hardest to live as God would want me to and the way Jesus taught but I, like everyone else, am human and make mistakes. I strive to overcome my weaknesses through prayer and fasting. I also make an effort to serve others whenever possible. I read from the Book of Mormon and the Bible everyday in an effort to understand better what the Lord would have me do. I do not use profanity and I will never use tobacco, drugs, or alcohol. I abstain from activities that would pull me further from my God and do everything I am capable of to come closer unto Him.
