Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission in McAllen Texas. My dad is in the military so we move around a lot. I had the opportunity to live in Germany for 6 years. I had unforgettable experiences with amazing friends all over Europe. I've had similarly great experiences as my family has lived in Kentucky, Connecticut, and Georgia. From moving around so much I've learned that the church is true no matter where you go and there will always be great people that share your same standards. I played soccer on my high school team, club, numerous reck leagues, and in BYU inter murals. Everyone in my family plays a musical instrument and a absolutely love having family band practice. I'm one of the guitarist in our band called Good Report. In Germany we would perform in activities at our church, but after we moved we haven't performed as much. Coldplay, Switchfoot, and Onerepublic are my favorite bands and I love to play their stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church and my parents take us kids to church every Sunday, but when I move away for college I'll still be a mormon. My decision to be a mormon is a personal choice that I've made on my own. I'm a mormon because I have prayed to my father in heaven in the name of Jesus Christ and received inspiration form the Holy Spirit that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I know it is the true church because of the happiness I feel when I keep the church standards. Through studying the Book of Mormon God has told me of its truthfulness. I'm a Mormon because I know I can have a family on earth that will be with me for eternity. I'm a mormon because I know i can bless the lives of those around me by fallowing the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I'm a mormon because I know that there is a living prophet that receives direct revelation from God for me and everyone on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be an example of Christ at all times. I try to serve those in need and have charity in my heart. I respect and honor women. I always try to be prepared to share what I believe with the people around me. I pray constantly to my heavenly father and listen to his responses.
