Hi I'm Marianne

I grew up in Colorado. I am an athlete. I am a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up the youngest of eight in a pretty competitive family. As a result, I played sports growing up. I was involved in basketball, volleyball and track. I was fortunate enough to play basketball collegiately for four years. I am now a wife and a mother of three. I never imagined that being a mom would be so fun! I absolutely love it and I am so glad that it is my full time job! One day, I plan to expand on my education and find another career to do along with mothering, but until then, I learn something new everyday from my kids!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I have always been involved in the church, sometimes more so than other times. I know that this church is true. I also know that it is consistent. Four years ago we had a son who only lived for five months. While this was a very trying and sad time in our lives, I will never forget the love that I felt from my Heavenly Father and the testimony that I have of having a forever family! I am so glad that I will be able to see my son again and that we will be able to live with our Heavenly Father! I know that this church is true and I know that I am a child of God.

How I live my faith

I am involved in any way that I can be in the church. I was fortunate enough to be called as Girls Camp Director of our ward. I was able to go camping with girls, ages 12-18 for a few days in the summer. What an inspiring time to be able to see young women work together, play together and grow testimonies together! I also am the primary chorister! Whew, talk about being active! It is singing, jumping, spinning, playing and entertaining the little kids in the ward. I LOVE IT! I love when I see kids having fun learning a new song and actually understanding what they are singing!
