Hi I'm Doug

I grew up in Alabama. I serverd a mission in Germany. I'm a father of 3. I am a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy mountain biking, photography, hunting and fishing. I am a father of three and a husband. I am a Soldier and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because the Savior has made it possible for each and everyone of us to return back to our Heavenly Father. I am thankful for the Savior and His sacrifice that he made for all of us. Without his sacrifice we might not be able to return to our Heavenly Father. My parents joined the Church when I was eight years old. I gained my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at a youth conference when I was about 16. It was the most spritiual event in my young life. I have most recently come to know the mercy and grace of God and Jesus Christ. I know that the Savior scraficed Himself in order to save each and every one of us. I am thankful for Thier grace and mercy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fallowing the teachings of the Savior everyday. I share His gospel with those who ask me what I believe. I go out with missionaries and help share the gospel when ever possible.

What is the priesthood?

The Priesthood is the authority to act in God's name. The Priesthood is given to worthy male members that follow the Lord's example. Priesthood holders may lead congregations in worship services if called upon. Priesthood holders perform all ordinances of the Church, for example: baptism, scarament (cummunion), and blessings, both for comfort and for the sick. Show more Show less
