Hi I'm Susie Cutler

I'm a wife with 3 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been happily married for 22 years to my best friend. I have 3 kids 2 boys that are 17 and 16, and 1 girl who is 12. Life can be hectic and chaotic, but I've been fortunate enough to stay home and raise my kids. I spend most of my time caring for my kids and their needs, and managing our home. I have many interests but some of my favorite hobbies are reading, baking, being with my family, and I love to go on power walks. I recently just walked 22 miles with girls ages 12-18.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were LDS so, to use a common phrase, I was born into the church. This may give the impression that my membership is automatic because that's what my family is. I decided when I was young that living the gospel of Jesus Christ and worshipping God was very important to me and I wanted to teach my children to love God and live his gospel. I feel peace and joy as I follow my Heavenly Father's plan for me, and I feel his love and guidance for me when I turn to Him during hard times and difficulties. The knowledge of our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness brings me great peace. I want that peace for my children so I'm doing my best to teach them. Whenever I feel like my life is out of balance, if I'm feeling unhappy or like I just don't have a handle on things, I know I can turn to Him. He loves me. He loves all of us. That is why He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to be our savior. He wants lasting happiness for us. He wants us to return to Him so he provided a way.

How I live my faith

I am currently a secretary in the women's organization of our church. I have also been a leader and teacher in the 1-8 yr. old children's organization, and a cub scout den leader. I have 3 other women in our congregation that I visit in their homes each month and keep track of their needs in case I can help them if they should need it. I also have helped prepare meals for those that are in need when there is an illness, death or new baby in the family. Being a Mormon helps me to love, serve and help other people as I try to live as Jesus would.
