Hi I'm Sherry

I'm a wife, mother & grandmother. My husband and I own and run a motel and meet many wonderful people.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of 6 children & grandmother of 13 grandchildren. I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I loved to ride horses. Now I am allergic to most of those animals! I served a mission for the church in Australia. I graduated from Brigham Young University. My husband and I have lived in 5 different states because of being transferred with the company he worked for. We currently own and run a motel in Idaho where we love to meet people. I have enjoyed working in the church in various callings. Currently I am the Relief Society President in my ward and my husband and I work in the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and proud to be a Mormon. My parents were members of this church. I have pioneer ancestors who sacrificed so that I could have the truth. I have felt that I have had a testimony of this church my whole life. It has grown through the years as I strive to live the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know this is Christ's church here on the earth. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that it is true. I know we have a living prophet and he teaches us the way to live. Our Savior directs this church through him.

How I live my faith

While growing up in the church, I had callings to play the piano for youth group. I served a mission to Australia when I was 21 for 18 months. I have had many other callings in the church. I served as pianist and organist for several branches and wards. I have worked with the children, young women, and the adult women in the church. I also have worked in the Cub Scouts. I have served as a worker in two different temples. Serving my Heavenly Father is a privilege. I have been blessed in my life and this is one way that I can try to repay my Heavenly Father for these blessings.
