Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon. My wife Jane and I have 9 children and 27 grandchildren. I am president of a large advertising agency in Arizona.

About Me

My wife and I are parents of 9 great children along with 27 adorable grandchildren. I am the president of a large advertising agency. We specialize in Television and On-Line advertising. I love to stay active and from time to time just sit back and read a good book and enjoy life. I love to boat, fish, go horseback riding and travel with my wife. I served a mission for the Mormon Church in Lima, Peru in the Andes mission. It was truly a great decision and I learned many great lessons asbout myself and working with others that have served me well throughout my life. I attended college and received a Bachelor's degree in marketing, then got a Masters of International Management and finall obtained a Juris Doctor degree of law.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the Mormon Church. My parents were active in the church and were truly great people. They tried to instill in me many of the principles of the church, such as hard work, obtaining an education, serving others and being respectful. My dad used to say, "you know all good people are not just Mormons." My wife and I have tried to teach our children the same principles we were taught. Even though I was born into the Church I have had to gain my own personal witness of the divinity of the Savior and his living Prophet. When I was called to serve a mission I realized that my testimony of the Mormon church was not as strong as it should be. I then prayed for my own confirmation and I can truthfully say that I did receive it. Since my mission I have married well, and always been active in the church. I believe with all my heart that Joseph Smith was the prophet of the resoration and that indeed we have a living prophet on the face of the earth today. I believe that I belong to Christ's church. It contains a perfect formula for living.

How I live my faith

I believe in living my faith 24/7-- not just on Sundays. I have worked with the young people of the Church for many years and have helped organize and carry out many youth conferences. I also have spent a lot of time in the scouting program. I love scout camps and "high adventures." I love being with the youth in an outdoor setting where a great appreciation of the outdoors is always felt. My wife and I on a monthly basis are assigned a few families to visit. We love getting out and meeting with members of the church in their homes. We laugh together sometimes shed a few tears together as we try to lift one another's burden. these are tough times and we can all use some encouragement and advice on how to cope with life. We start and end each day we prayer as we communicate with our Father in Heaven. I have had my prayers answered on many occasisions.
