Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a wife and a mother. I own my own business. I love to shop anytime I get the chance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love working with my husband in our business. I always thought that a husband and a wife should work together. That just seemed to make sense to me. So when we were given this opportunity we were ecstatic. I am also highly competitive and I love working around my own schedule in a business that gives me an outlet for that competitive energy! I have three children under the age of 10 and another one the way. These little kidos keep our household hopping! We love playing games as a family. It could be computer games, board games, or just plain "hide and go seek," we have a blast! I have lived in three different states. My husband and I have moved 10 times in our 11 years of marriage. I love to read and watch movies! My favorite books are anything inspiring. I love true stories of courage and the power of the decided heart. My favorite movies have the same themes! I'm passionate about fashion. I love to shop and put together outfits for myself and others. It feels great to know you look nice and help others look and feel the same.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of this church has brought immeasurable peace into my life. Having the understanding that there is a God and that he loves us has been such priceless knowledge. I joined the church at a young age but I knew it was true. My testimony didn't come all at once. My faith grew with every page I read of the scriptures, with every hymn I've sung and with every sunday I attended church. The feeling I would get, even when I was small attending church with my family was one of comfort. I always had a sense of belonging. It wasn't just because of the other members that made us always feel like family. It was because I knew I was attending the true church, His church.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach youth ages 8-9 in our ward every sunday. I love this age of children. They have such a love and desire to learn. We are studying the new testiment this year. It has been a great chance for me to gain a greater knowledge of the new testiment while teaching these bright kids! Singing songs together in our group class is a very powerful experience for me. These children are still small but they know their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them, and they express this so beautifully when they sing the childrens songs.
