Hi I'm Delos

I am an avid Beekeeper, enjoy writing poetry, playing chess and have a unique self-appreciated sence of humor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, My name is Delos Bond. I and my wife Carolyn, have been married for more than 36 years and have five grown children. Each with special talents, difficulties and successes. I have worked in the Land Surveying and Engineering field for most of my adult life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of active Mormon parents. My father was a returned missionary of the late 40's. His was called to, what was known then as the Northwestern States Mission. My mother, a stallworth individual, who I much under appreciated in my youth, taught me the more important things in life. I have grown up with some physical challenges in my youth, but through the Power of the Priesthood, caring parents and the Church, I have gained a Faithful Testimony of the Truthfullness of Gospel of Jesus Christ, his mercy, his mission, and his love for us all individually. I am eternally greatful for good, parents, teachers, church and civic leaders who have inspired me along the way. These are reasons I follow the Mormon Faith. A Christian Faith. The True Restored Church of Christ, with Prophets, Apostles and other leaderships that existed in his church at his time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best in whatever calling or church duty I am called to do. Sometimes my best falls far short of what it should be. I have held a variety of Church callings, each with its own particular challenges. I try to be of service to my fellow man, personaly and on the civic level. I am far from perfect, have many faults, and continue to see that there are many personal challenges ahead for me. But I will not let these challenges stop me from trying to progress into the person my Savior would have me be.
