Hi I'm Faith :)

I’m an aspiring doctor. I end my signature with a smiley face. I’m tall, 6’6 to be exact, and I’m a Mormon!

About Me

I am Faith. I am the product of a single mother (and a younger sister). My sister is my best firend and my mother is my hero. I want to be a Pediatric Oncologist 'when I grow up'. I am a huge sports fan and I love dancing like a fool in my car.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a mormon household but I believe every member must truly be converted at some point. It happens sooner or later. For me it was sooner. When I was five years old my mother and father divorced. We moved from Japan to California with nothing but a backpack for each of us. I also had a doll named Molly. Molly was my best friend and was there whenever I needed her. One night, after a month of living in California, I lost Molly. We didn't have anything in our house but beds and there wasnt really a way to have misplaced her. After searching frantically my mother asked if I had prayed. I hadn't even thought to pray. We kneeled down on our stairs and I said a prayer to my Heavenly Father. When I opened my eyes there was Molly on the stairs in a little crevice. I still remember that prayer. At five years old I realized Heavenly Father would never let me down. All I needed to do was ask for help. Today, at eighteen, I still kneel in prayer and ask for guidance. " Pray like everything depends on Heavenly Father. Act as if everything depends on you" I know Heavenly Father is there for me whenever I need him just like Molly was. I know this Church is true. I know there was a boy named Joseph Smith who knelt down in prayer and asked for an answer. And the answer he received led to the restoration of this amazing church. A saying I recently learned says: "You don't have to eat the whole cake to know it's good." The same goes for the church. You don't have to know everything to know it's true you just have start with that first bite. Then after that you'll want to eat the whole cake. :)

How I live my faith

It may sound very basic, but I read my scriptures and say my prayers every morning. I attend church every Sunday and serve my calling faithfully. I surround myslef with uplifting things and make sure I am uplifting to others. :)
