Hi I'm Julie

I am a very active mom of four small children. I love running, especially with friends, fishing, and eating. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived all over the western United States including California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana and now Washington. I grew up mostly in California, and went to college at BYU. I met my husband at the end of my Sophmore year and married him my half way through my Junior year. We've been married for 10 years now and have four of the most beautiful children ever; and I never want to do or be anything but a mom. I had my perfect day about a month ago where I ran a 10k in the morning with one of my best friends, came home took my kids fishing on the Puyallup River, catching 4 Salmon, and then went with my husband to a preseason Seahawks game. If the blackberries had been on and I had picked and eaten a few, that's the only thing that would have made that day any better. I love being active. I love fishing. I love taking my kids fishing, and I love eating and cooking good food.

Why I am a Mormon

In a world and a life moving a million miles an hour, living the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me peace, confidence in myself and others, hope, and most importantly direction. Life can be one big, crazy, huge mess, and when I'm not sure what to do, or where to turn, I know I can go to me knees. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father, who wants me conquer life, beat the odds and be happy. I may not get the answer I want or expect, but by putting my life and trust in His hands, it doesn't' matter, everything will work out. I will be better off by doing or going through or overcoming whatever it is my Heavenly Father puts in my path. That's why I'm Mormon

How I live my faith

There are a few simple things that I do to help me make the most of everyday. First, I wake up just a little before my kids to give me a few minutes to study my scriptures and pray. Remembering Jesus, and inviting the Holy Ghost into my day, gives me an extra energy source that I can't live without. Then its business as usual. However, as I go through my day I try to find people I can help, ways I can teach to my kids about Christ, and have as much fun as possible. It's a good life, a busy life, a hectic life, but a life that requires the gospel of Jesus Christ.
