Hi I'm Jacquelin

I am a nurse, a wife and a soon to be first time mom. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho with my parents, twin sister and younger brother and sister. I recently moved to Nebraska with my husband where he will eventually be attending physical therapy school and I will be working as a nurse. We are expecting our first child next year and I cannot wait to become a mom! I love to play soccer and hope someday to attend the World Cup! I also enjoy reading, playing the piano, camping, hiking, and basically anything to do with the great outdoors! I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I am super competitive and am working on not being such a sore loser :) I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy! I was born and raised in the church, but not always an active member. The time in my life when I was not living the teachings of the church was the darkest and most lonely time of my life. Living the teachings of the church give me pure joy, not just momentary joy. I find joy and happiness in the fact that my Heavenly Father and Savior know and understand me as an individual. I know that they have a hand in my life and are always there leading and guiding me, even when times are rough. I know that this is the true church. I know that my Heavenly Father and Savior love me. I know that living the teachings of the church bring pure joy and happiness even in the darkest of times.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I begin each day with prayer and personal scripture reading and end each day with prayer and family scripture reading. I strive to keep my Savior in my thoughts throughout the day and to only do things which would make him proud. I do not smoke, drink alcohol, or partake of any substance that would be harmful to my body. I work to improve myself daily and to find the good in others. Because I just moved, I currently do not hold a calling or visit teach other women in my ward, but I hope to do so soon. I enjoy helping others and I like to think that I live my faith through my actions and my example to others.
